Mississippihorses.org has been helping rescue groups save horses and place them into permanent homes since 2008. We have established a new entity, Mississippi Horses, Inc., to concentrate more on fundraising and to be able to assist more groups and save more horses. To help with fund raising efforts and to qualify for grants, we have applied for our tax-exempt status. Since our non-profit status is pending, any donations made today are retroactive and will be tax deductible.
THANK YOU!

Our friend Jamie of El Paso, Texas, started her own 501C3 when she was just 7 years old to give back to other children hospitalized with Epilepsy. She loves horses and knows that horses are used for therapy for children with epilepsy. We feel honored that she would use money earned from doing chores to help our horses. Please visit her web site and see the wonderful work she's doing.

Special thanks to the MSEA for their support and generous donation to our cause. Their web site has lots of good information for horse people so be sure to check it out! http://www.mssaddleup.org/

Pete at Equine Mega Omega donated the Equine Mega Omega supplement for Dillon. When he was first rescued, he could barely walk due to the severe swelling of his fetlocks due to years of abuse. He is now able to run, buck and play and live a comfortable life! Please visit their web site: Equine Mega Omega. This stuff works!

Special thanks to Nancy Herrington for being our largest donor to date! What a wonderful gift that will help us feed abused and neglected horses this winter.
